RVA Code Camp 2017

October 21, 2017
ECPI University | Glen Allen, VA

A one day educational, yet fun filled technology mashup brought to you by regional & local developers and technology professionals.

RVA Code Camp 2017 is set for October 21st!

What is the RVA Code Camp?

The RVA Code Camp is an all day event held annually - targeted primarily at developers - whose sole mission is too share technical knowledge with fellow developers. It is a community event in which local and regional developers share knowledge with local and regional developers. The point of a camp is to gather together a group of software (and in this case - data science and security) enthusiasts for a day, with the intention of learning some new method or technology. Richmond has a long tradition of code camps, and we continue that tradition today.

We are evolving the RVA Code Camp into a platform agnostic code camp, a place for all developers, data science folks and technolgy enthusiasts that represent the "face" of the Richmond technology community. We want to present one table - there may be different seats - but we all sit at one table. It is our hope that we can all share with each other and make new friends, new partnerships and grow a stronger community.
This year we are offering the following tracks: (Topics and speakers yet to be determined).

  • Introduction to Programming (Programming 101)
  • JavaScipt and JavaScript Frameworks
  • Python
  • Java
  • .Net
  • Data Science
  • Ethical Hacking

Innsbrook Campus of ECPI University.
The address is 4305 Cox Rd., Glen Allen, 23060.
